Celebrating our Legacy

IPH&H was established in July 1976 by (Late) Dr. Shyam Sunder Joshi, whose visionary ideas led him to envision and create an Institution that was inclusive and opened its doors for the World and engaged it's service in collaboration with the Country. It is co-educational Institute catering to students from all walks of life. It is with pride that we count many students from all parts of the World among our alimni, for the heart of city, in the service of the Country.
The Institute's founder was also ahead of his time in engaging the Institute in direct service to the community viz. Community Health-Care Services, Free Rural Mobile Health Services, Free Rural Community Public School, Immunization Programme, Service and Rehabilitation to Disabled, HIV/AIDS Awareness Programmes,much long before such services were available. As we have evolved and diversified, that notion of service has expanded to include the world. The magnitude of the Institutes engagement-which spans public education,health care, and the arts-is unparalleled in indian higher education.
